We improve building envelope performance

Thermal bridging is a significant factor in building envelope energy loss. Our goal is to provide architects, structural engineers and building design professionals with effective solutions to control thermal bridging. Armatherm™ Thermal Bridging Solutions can be used where a penetration or transition exists in a building envelope creating a thermal bridge, minimizing heat loss at balcony, canopy, parapet, masonry shelf angle and cladding connections.

BIM Files, What Are They?

Building Information Modeling is a 3D model-based process that gives architecture, engineering, and construction professionals the insight and tools to more efficiently plan, design, construct, and manage buildings and infrastructure.

Armatherm believes it is critical to support architects, engineers and contractors with design support, material specifications, testing data, and installation advice. We know that a proper design, with the correct material, installed to specification, is the way to a successful project. Armatherm appreciates the work needed to change the industry is not easy, and we are here to help.

Financial/Tax Benefits

There are many advantages to creating energy efficient buildings. Well insulated buildings have lower heating and cooling costs, are more comfortable spaces, reduce chances of condensation which can damage the building and promote mold growth. There are also state and federal tax incentives and utility programs that will defray the cost of these energy saving upgrades.

Architects serious about designing for the future should insist on structural thermal breaks. The advancement of materials with high strength and low conductivity, like fiber reinforced resin (FRR), is a relatively new technology in building materials. We now have the ability to insulate and isolate steel and concrete, and maintain structural integrity.
