What Is Passivhaus and Why Does It Matter for New Schools?
After the Scottish Government in January 2023 introduced new minimum environment design standards, equivalent to Passivhaus status, 35 new schools will be built under the City of Edinburgh Council’s new school programme. Currie Community High School is the first secondary school with this status and will open early 2025.
