New Thermally Isolated Compression Sleeve for UK and Ireland Projects

We’re so pleased to announce that we can now offer a brand new product to our UK and Ireland customers. Armatherm™ Thermally Isolated Compression Sleeve is the latest addition to our expansive product range and is the ideal solution for reducing thermal bridging at screw fixings in façade, rainscreen and cladding attachment systems.

High Strength Glass-Reinforced Sleeve Tested for Structural Performance

This high-performance glass-reinforced spacer sleeve delivers outstanding mechanical strength and long-term durability, with a tensile strength of 125.60 MPa and flexural strength of 273.95 MPa. Tested to ASTM standards, it features low water absorption (0.48%) and a density of 1.80 g/cc, ensuring consistent performance in demanding construction environments. Designed with a 12.7 mm outer diameter and 7.0 mm inner diameter, the sleeve provides a reliable alternative to traditional stainless-steel spacers in structural fixing systems.

Designed for Load-Bearing Fixings and Long-Term Envelope Performance

Its robust composition makes it suitable for load-bearing façade fixings while reducing thermal bridging by isolating connections between conductive materials, helping maintain continuous building envelope insulation. Sleeves can be supplied in custom-cut lengths to match insulation thickness requirements, with bulk ordering available and high UK stock levels supporting fast project delivery.

Supporting Net Zero Goals Through Reduced Heat Loss

With the ever-nearing goal of net zero looming, addressing thermal bridging will be essential to helping reduce carbon emissions. By installing solutions like our brand new Thermally Isolated Compression Sleeve product into retrofitting projects and new construction plans will help limit energy loss and overconsumption, enabling us to meet such targets.
